This image is not mine but it needed to be shared.  I am a military BRAT, I grew up around two marines and my Step-Father is a soldier in the United States Army. 

So often we forget or over look the sacrifices that give us things as simple as freedom of speech and religion.  Even more so we forget about the family members of the soldeirs that have died for their country.  For us. 

We forget about their husbands and wives, their children and parents, their best friends who never though it would happen to their friend.

So take today and tomorrow to thank a soldier or a veteran for their service, for what they do to keep us all safe.  Remember that you dont have to wait for a holiday to say thank you, because hearing any sort of thanks from anyone is the greatest thing someone can do for a service member or their family member.

So enjoy your holiday, I’m not saying not to.  Just maybe make a burger or open a beer in honor of sacrifice.
